Welcome to ANTEM 2025
The 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM) will take place in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, marking a significant occasion for the first time in this historic location. Co-sponsored by IEEE Canada, ANTEM is one of the flagship conferences under the IEEE Canada umbrella, recognized globally as a premier forum for networking, knowledge exchange, and the discussion of future directions in antennas, propagation, and applied electromagnetics.
The 2025 symposium will emphasize the latest advancements and innovations in these fields through a robust technical program. The event will feature distinguished lectures, special sessions on emerging topics, and a highly competitive student paper competition. Attendees will have the opportunity to present their research findings during the oral sessions, with all accepted papers published in IEEE Xplore.
St. John’s, renowned for its significant contributions to the field of electromagnetics, provides a unique backdrop for this year’s symposium. From the site of Marconi’s first transatlantic radio signal at Signal Hill to the landing points of transatlantic cables, the city’s historical relevance will enrich the discussions at ANTEM 2025. We invite you to join us in exploring the intersection of past achievements and future innovations in this vibrant and historically rich location.
We look forward to your contributions and to welcoming you to the beautiful city of St. John’s.
